  • ◆ Basic Principle:Hit the top of pile with testing hammer to produce stress wave, and the wave may reflect when it meets defect (pile bottom, crack, or soil middle layer) while it run downward through the concrete. The probe placed on the top of the pile receives the reflected signal. The instrument digitally processes the signal in order to judge the quality of foundation pile.
  • ◆Basic Principle:According to the time interval between the arrival of the direct wave and first reflected wave, or time interval between the two continuous reflected waves, the depth of foundation pile can be determined by the following equation: D= V P ×T P /2 (D - depth of foundation pile, V P – compression wave speed, T P - compression wave spread time)
